FOX NFL Sunday veteran Terry Bradshaw snapped at his co-star, Howie Long, during Week 1 of the new NFL season after being corrected on a playcall.
The FOX NFL Sunday crew returned this weekend, with Bradshaw, Curt Menefee, Howie Long, Michael Strahan, and Rob Gronkowski back on our screens. Fans have continued to debate whether Bradshaw is too old for the role after alarming incidents, but he remains a favorite on the FOX Sports panel.
Long managed to frustrate Bradshaw later in the show, when the pair were discussing an Ashton Jeanty touchdown. It comes after FOX was ordered to take Bradshaw off the air after a humiliating confession.

The Las Vegas Raiders made an excellent start to the 2026 season, defeating the Miami Dolphins 27-13 in the home opener. Jeanty was the star of the show, though he showed a new side to his game.
On Sunday, he rushed for 102 yards on 23 carries, but scored two receiving touchdowns and led the team with 45 yards. Without tight end Brock Bowers, Jeanty was the main outlet for new quarterback Kirk Cousins.
When discussing one of Jeanty's two touchdowns, Bradshaw said, "Quick post, there it is. Wide open Ashton Jeanty, coming out of the backfield - some call it basically a quick post, how he gets inside for a 13-yard score."

Long then intervened and said, "They call it the Texas route." Bradshaw appeared to snap at Long and wasn't impressed with the reaction.

"OK, whatever," Bradshaw said. "You get your head buried in the sand, how would you know what he’s run?"
Bradshaw had another bizarre moment on FOX NFL Sunday, as he appeared to forget the two teams that they were watching. Before Jeanty's touchdown in the third quarter, the broadcast showed both Dolphins head coach Jeff Hafley and Raiders head coach Klint Kubiak.

Bradshaw went to comment on the coaches, but lost his way. "Two new head coaches, Jeff Hafley on the left of the Miami Dolphins. Clint Kubiak of... of the...," Bradshaw said, before host Menefee interjected. "Of the Raiders," he said.
The Raiders looked dangerous to kickstart the new season, after selecting Fernando Mendoza first overall in the 2026 NFL Draft. Veteran quarterback Cousins has been named as the starting quarterback and formed an early partnership with Jeanty.

Jeanty was drafted in 2025 as the top running back prospect after setting Boise State's single-season rushing record with 2,601 yards and 29 touchdowns during a historic 2024 campaign. Jeanty's ability to adapt to the NFL was questioned, but he's made a strong start after an excellent rookie year.
While last season was a disaster for the Raiders, Jeanty provided some optimism. He set the single-season franchise record for most scrimmage yards by a rookie with 1,321 yards, narrowly surpassing Josh Jacobs' previous mark of 1,316.
It comes after Bradshaw was left confused when a female colleague unexpectedly grabbed him live on the air.
