Sánchez entered the game against the San Diego Padres needing just one inning to achieve the mark. He now has 45.2 scoreless innings in a row.

While he has the record for a lefty, he still has his sights on climbing the overall leaderboard. Currently, he sits seventh on the all-time list and would need to reach 59.1 consecutive scoreless innings to set the overall record.
