Meghan Markle allegedly had a lengthy list of requirements for her new UK residence as she, Prince Harry, and their children returned from the States.
The Sussexes touched down in the UK at the end of August after six years in America, seemingly in preparation for their children starting school during an "extended stay."
Sources with knowledge of the couple have revealed that Meghan has clear expectations for her new property, which includes nine bedrooms. The number of bedrooms matches that of the $15 million Montecito property Meghan currently owns. After their arrival at Birmingham Airport on August 26, the family was transported in a convoy of blacked-out SUVs to a family friend's residence on the outskirts of the Cotswolds while they hunt for a more permanent home.

Meghan reportedly wants nine bedrooms and a film studio, while Harry wants "a lot, and I mean a lot, of land, and no footpaths going across it to protect their privacy," a source told the Daily Mail.
Three independent sources have indicated that, despite speculation that a $16.24 million property had been secured, no sale has been finalized or made as of yet.

As Meghan's demands continue to generate chatter, the Express US reached out to astrologer TJ Higgs to get her thoughts on it all. She exclusively told us, "Meghan is a Leo Sun, Libra Moon, and Cancer Rising, which makes this move much more emotionally complex for her than people might imagine.

"Her Leo Sun is strong, independent, and needs to feel in control of her own life. Meghan won't want this move to be interpreted as her simply returning to the life she walked away from. For her, it needs to represent a new chapter and something she has actively chosen."
"But her Cancer Rising tells another story. Cancer is incredibly connected to home, family, children and emotional security, so I think establishing a safe and happy family home in Britain will become very important to her. Her Libra Moon also wants peace. She doesn't want to live permanently surrounded by conflict," TJ pointed out.
The astrology expert then explained, "The tarot card I pulled for Meghan is The Chariot, and I couldn't think of a more appropriate card. The Chariot is about taking back the reins and determining your own direction.
"For me, Meghan's attitude is very much: I'm coming back, but I'm coming back on my terms. She could actually feel surprisingly positive about Britain this time because she is returning as a very different woman."
"The challenge will come if she begins to feel that other people are trying to dictate what her life here should look like," TJ concluded.
Despite distancing themselves from their royal duties and the decline in their production agreements, the Sussexes' finances are not a constraint, as they are allegedly operating on a "gargantuan budget."
It is believed they will retain their Montecito mansion, which would mean they could soon own three properties. The California residence, an $8.4 million vacation home in Portugal, and their soon-to-be new UK property.
