Meghan Markle is expected to be cautious about her future moves. The Duchess of York’s husband, Prince Harry, is allegedly looking forward to ending the feud with his family. Harry is reportedly expecting an invite to Sandringham in the summer during his expected visit to the UK. Now, a royal writer has warned that Markle’s business decisions might affect the royal reunion.

Royal writer Richard Palmer said that Prince Harry‘s reunion plans shouldn’t become a PR trip for Meghan Markle’s brand. He told Mirror how the reunion between King Charles III and his son has “complications” due to “trust issues.” Palmer said that there is still “tension” between the two sides. However, it’s clear that “the Sussexes’ team is in contact with Buckingham Palace.

He told Mirror, “I can see one potential problem there, which is if Meghan is launching As Ever in the UK during a visit here.” The writer added, “The King won’t want to be the backdrop or to be seen to be endorsing a commercial launch like that.” Thus, “it will be important to consider the timing.”

King Charles III and Queen Camilla are expected to spend a week at their Sandringham house in July. Palmer also believes that the King might be looking forward to a reunion. He also recalled the pair’s visit to Trooping the Colour during Queen Elizabeth’s Platinum Jubilee celebrations. Palmer claimed, “A senior source close to Charles stressed how wonderful it had been for him to see his grandchildren.” The royal writer continued, “I think he’s genuinely missing out there and regretting missing out.”

He added, “It would make perfect sense for Harry and Meghan and the children to go and stay at a royal residence with the King, if they’re hoping to try and build bridges.” Palmer claimed that tensions still exist due to Harry’s past statements. He feels the king and queen “still have big trust issues with the Sussexes after what has happened and been said.”
