Meghan Markle and Prince Harry were reportedly accused of changing the narrative at King Charles’ expense. According to royal experts, the Sussexes have pulled their kids out of their new school due to security reasons. It was reported that Prince Archie and Princess Lilibet had to change schools within a few days in the UK due to commuting concerns. Harry and Meghan have allegedly been trying to push Ravec to allow them taxpayer-funded security. Amid this, an expert opined that the whole ordeal “is about grandstanding.”

Meghan Markle and Prince Harry’s protection demands could reportedly cause problems for King Charles. The Sussexes have seemingly changed their children’s school because their convoy was broken during the school run. While the non-working royals thought of it as a security concern, other parents allegedly didn’t see it as a major issue.

Royal author Robert Jobson told Sun Studio, “It’s really sad that the kids are becoming the narrative here” (via The Sun). According to him, the Sussexes’ problem was more about the “school run and a traffic issue” rather than a security problem.

“It’s been dressed up that this is a major security incident. I think it’s more to do with an alarm clock and and them not getting up in time,” he added. Moreover, another expert, Angela Levin, shared a similar opinion about the Sussexes’ move. She accused Harry and Meghan of making Ravec pay a whopping amount of money for the Duke’s family’s protection.

For those unversed, the Sussexes lost the privilege when they stepped back from their royal duties in 2020. For several years, Harry tried to convince the UK government to provide his family with taxpayer-funded security. But he was a non-working royal; therefore, he would not receive the perks.

Meanwhile, Jobson added, “All of this is about grandstanding. You don’t hear any of this from William and Catherine. And all we’ve had in the three weeks they’ve been back is the narrative is totally dominated by Harry and Meghan.”
