Lady Gaga and her husband Michael Polansky are officially parents.
They stepped out with their newborn for the first time last week.
In 2025, Gaga agreed that she would go “all-in” as a mom.
Lady Gaga made some telling comments about motherhood months before welcoming her first child with fiancé Michael Polansky. She and the entrepreneur were photographed with their bundle of joy just last week.
On a July 2025 episode of “The Howard Stern Show,” the radio host said that he could see Gaga going “all-in” as a mom. “You’re actually right on the money with that,” she replied.

The singer went on: “I just really want them to have a very safe and happy childhood, so you’re not wrong that that will become my No. 1 priority.”
Stern also asked whether Gaga would “disappear” from the entertainment industry after having kids. “I don’t think so,” she said, adding, “I also have to see what it’s like and what our kid needs, you know?”

Page Six was the first to announce that Gaga and Polansky had become parents. The outlet obtained photos of them in Northern California, where the Mayhem artist, 40, could be seen carrying their baby in a sling.
Gaga went incognito in taupe wool jacket and black sunglasses, adding on ditsy floral pajama pants and some black loafers. She wore her platinum blonde hair in a low bun. Polansky, meanwhile, paired a brown hoodie with shorts, flip-flops, and a baseball cap.

Gaga also discussed her desire to start a family in a March 2020 interview with InStyle. The Grammy winner shared she was “very excited” to have kids.
“I look forward to being a mom,” she said. “Isn’t it incredible what we can do? We can hold a human inside and grow it. Then it comes out, and it’s our job to keep it alive. It’s so funny—everyone works out of my house every day. When they come in, I always say, ‘Welcome to the Womb!’”
