Katy Perry shared a playful Instagram post featuring Justin Trudeau and glimpses of her personal life

Katy Perry is giving fans another glimpse into her relationship with Justin Trudeau.
On April 7, the “Firework” singer shared a new Instagram carousel that included a photo of Trudeau, 54, and a mix of personal snapshots. The post featured everything from glamorous shots of Perry to a silly picture, a sweet image of her daughter and a video of herself riding a bike along the beach.
The post also featured a variety of unexpected images, including leafy greens, a leaf, a dog, moments from her tour and what appeared to be a costume look.
“Never knew karma could be so rewarding,” Perry, 41, captioned the post.
The update comes as Perry and Trudeau’s relationship continues to grow following public appearances together in recent months. The pair first sparked speculation when they were spotted in Montréal in July, before making their relationship Instagram official in December 2025.
Since then, the two have been navigating a long-distance dynamic while balancing busy schedules. A source told PEOPLE in March that “the priority for both of them is stability for the kids,” adding, “Katy and Justin have had to be flexible to make the relationship work.”
“They travel whenever they can to spend time together. The long-distance dynamic was never a surprise to them,” the insider added.

According to the source, both Perry and Trudeau “understood from the beginning that their lives were complicated and that it wouldn’t be the easiest relationship logistically,” but “really wanted to see where things could go, and have been determined to make it work.”
Perry wrapped her Lifetimes Tour in December after nearly 100 shows. During the tour, Trudeau often made an effort to visit her on the road.
“She fell for him early on because he really showed that he was interested,” the source said. “They’ve already had to navigate a lot of logistics. The fact that they’ve been willing to do that says a lot about how serious they are about each other.”

The couple has also shown a playful side on social media. On March 27, Perry shared another Instagram carousel from a recent date night, joking about their age difference.
“How old would you be if you didn’t know how old you were?” she captioned the post.
In one of the images, the pair held up their phones to display results from a Function test measuring “biological age.” Perry’s result came in at 33.1, while Trudeau’s read 43 — both younger than their actual ages.
