- Kate and Oliver Hudson commiserated with Emma Roberts over not being invited to Taylor Swift’s wedding.

- Kate understood that “lists are hard,” while Roberts said she “met” Swift.

- The trio laughed off their non-attendance while discussing the nuptials.

Although there were 1,000 people at Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce’s wedding this summer, a few celebrities are still wondering why they weren’t asked to attend. Namely, Kate Hudson, Oliver Hudson, and Emma Roberts.

During an episode of the Hudson siblings’ podcast *Sibling Revelry *on Tuesday, Kate and Oliver were discussing Roberts’ July wedding to Cody John when she brought up how much her guests loved a Goo Goo Dolls moment on the dance floor.

“It doesn’t matter what you think of it, it’s so hard to write a hit song,” Kate explained of the group’s hit “Iris,” as Oliver chimed in to mention frontman John Rzeznik, “He was invited to Taylor and Travis’ wedding, and you weren’t.”

“He was, and she wasn’t?” Roberts asked, as Oliver confirmed his sister was, in fact, not invited.

Roberts added, “I wasn’t either.”

“The Goo Goo Dolls guy?” Hudson continued to question while laughing.

“Mr. Goo Goo!” Oliver joked.

“How do you know that?” Roberts asked Oliver. “Did you go? Tell us. I’m dead. Such a weird diss!”

Oliver explained that Rzeznik was in an Instagram reel he saw, and he talked about going to Swift and Kelce’s wedding and “doing a thing.” (Although he did tell PEOPLE if he “were asked, I would do it,” there’s been no confirmation that Rzeznik actually performed at the wedding.)

Kate quipped that the Goo Goo Dolls must be in her brother’s algorithm, to which he quoted the lyrics of their iconic song, “I don’t want the world to see me.”

“I don’t think that they’d understand,” Kate joked back, noting that Oliver has been chiding her over not being invited to the nuptials of the century. “Everyone was, but...”

“I wasn’t either,” Roberts reiterated, with Oliver asking if she had any association with Swift.

“I mean, I met her, but,” Roberts said.

Roberts actually starred in the movie *Valentine’s Day *with Swift in 2010, and they were photographed hanging out on set together. Roberts also attended Swift’s *Eras* tour.

“I’m anxiously awaiting to see the wedding photos, but I don’t think they’re coming,” Roberts said.

“I have friends who were invited and I’m like, ‘What? How? What the f---?’ Even they’re like, ‘I don’t know,’” Oliver explained.

When asked how she felt about not getting “the nod,” Kate told Roberts she “gets it.”

“Lists are hard,” she said as all three laughed hysterically. “You know, probably the same thing, they never met Danny [Fujikawa, her partner], you know? I don’t know.”

“Oh no, not Danny again!” Oliver joked.

“Danny, Danny, Danny... he’s the reason I’ve never made any wedding,” Kate stated, explaining that her longtime love is “not a social guy and he’s not into the whole thing.”

“Therefore people don’t really get to know him,” Kate insisted, theorizing she would’ve been “a thoughtful cut” from Swift and Kelce’s guest list.

Roberts said she should’ve invited the Hudson sibs to her wedding as they’re “a lot of fun.”

“The whole list and seating chart, you would think we were like saving the world,” Roberts joked.

Swift and Kelce got married at Madison Square Garden in New York City on July 3. Roberts tied the knot three weeks later at a private family estate in Sun Valley, Idaho.
