Chris Harrison is making his return to reality television and his new show looks… a little familiar.

The 55-year-old former *Bachelor* franchise host is spearheading a brand new reality dating series called *Chris Harrison’s The Vow*. The six-episode program, which premieres Nov. 11 on Fox Nation, will see Harrison help 30-year-old loan officer Jace Cates on his journey to find true love among 10 eligible bachelorettes.

It’s clear the series is aware of the comparisons that are likely to be made between the two programs, because its teaser trailer literally opens with fluttering rose petals and text onscreen includes the words ā€œget readyā€ and ā€œthe bachelor.ā€

However, Harrison subverts the idea when he throws the rose to the ground. ā€œExpecting someone else? Roses fade. True love lasts forever,ā€ he says, before almost crushing a rose underneath his foot.

Fox Nation president Lauren Petterson unveiled *The Vow*’s premiere date and praised Harrison for helping to ā€œshape one of television’s most recognizable genresā€ in a press release on Wednesday, adding, ā€œWe’re thrilled to partner with him on a fresh, thoughtful take that returns the focus to what so many people are ultimately searching for: a genuine connection built to last.ā€

She continued, ā€œThis series explores the conversations, values and real-life moments that matter long after production ends, and we believe audiences will connect with its authentic and hopeful approach to finding lasting love.ā€

THE BACHELORETTE - "The Bachelorette: The Men Tell All" - It's an exciting, unpredictable reunion viewers won't want to miss as the most memorable bachelors from this season - including Ben H., Ben Z., Chris "Cupcake," Ian and Jared -- return to confront each other and Kaitlyn one last time on national television to dish the dirt and tell their side of the story, on "The Bachelorette: The Men Tell All," MONDAY, JULY 20 (8:00-10:01 p.m., ET), on the Disney General Entertainment Content via Getty Images Television Network. *The Vow* comes five years after Harrison officially parted ways with* The* *Bachelor* and its many spinoffs in 2021. The host’s departure came after he sparked heavy backlash for defending *Bachelor* season 25 contestant Rachael Kirkconnell’s attendance at a ā€œplantation-themedā€ sorority party in college. He was subsequently replaced by host Jesse Palmer.

Over the years, Harrison has spoken about his *Bachelor* exit, revealing that he felt ā€œgratefulā€ to remove himself from a ā€œvery toxic situation.ā€ Now, in his own statement, Harrison expressed his excitement about returning to his roots and ā€œhelping people find loveā€ once again on *The Vow.*

ā€œWe were inspired by the faith-driven renaissance happening across America, and as a result, I believe we’ve created the most authentic dating show on television today,ā€ he said. ā€œAt a time when so many people feel dating has become harder than ever, *The Vow* asks a simple but important question: Can genuine, lasting love still be found in the modern world?ā€

Harrison added, ā€œThe stakes couldn’t be higher. I’m incredibly proud and honored to put my name on this show.ā€

*The Vow* will follow Cates as he goes on ā€œcurated datesā€ and undergoes ā€œreal-world compatibility challengesā€ with his many suitors to find out ā€œwhether shared values, faith, communication, and long-term goals can build a relationship designed to last long after the cameras stop rolling,ā€ per the release. Along the way, Harrison will help guide its participants ā€œthrough honest conversations and pivotal decisions that test far more than chemistry.ā€

The series adds that it intends to put the focus on ā€œmeaningful relationships, commitment, and building a life together,ā€ to the point that it encourages ā€œcontestants to leave the process if they no longer believe the relationship has a genuine future.ā€

And, as it turns out, Harrison’s not the only Bachelor Nation alum making an appearance on the show either. Sean and Catherine Lowe, who fell in love on season 17 of the ABC series, will also stop by to ā€œshare their experience and offer advice on what it takes to build a lasting partnership.ā€

The first two episodes of *The Vow* premiere on Nov. 11. Watch the teaser trailer above.
