For the appearance, she wore an unexpected see-through Tom Ford look featuring a clear vinyl skirt.

On August 3, the 50-year-old actress attended a press conference for The Odyssey in Seoul, South Korea, wearing an unexpected see-through Tom Ford look.

Styled by Leslie Fremar, Theron wore a clear vinyl skirt with black leather trim from the brand’s Fall/Winter ‘26 collection, designed by Haider Ackermann. Similar to how the ensemble appeared on the runway, she paired the transparent skirt with a blue-and-white striped button-down. She wore the top slightly unbuttoned to reveal her black bra.
She topped off the look with a short black lace skirt, logo-print tights featuring tiny “TF” monograms, long black gloves, and black stiletto heels. Her short hair was styled in a wavy bob and worn in a side part, while she sported natural glam.
The Mad Max: Fury Road actress shared photos of the look on Instagram, writing, “Calypso finally leaves the island… and lands in Seoul ❤️.”

Theron, who plays Calypso in the film, has been rocking several standout outfits throughout The Odyssey press tour. Most recently, for a July 30 appearance in Beijing, China, she donned a striking, voluminous Givenchy gown. And for the film’s premiere later that day, she stunned in a gold chainmail Louis Vuitton ensemble.
In a previous interview with People, Theron shared her philosophy on taking fashion risks.
“I feel like there shouldn’t be any faux pas,” she said in 2023. “I really feel like if you just go by how you feel and how much you love it, then it’s not a faux pas.”

She continued, “I mean, there are a lot of dresses that I know people didn’t like, but I’m like, I looked at myself in the mirror that night, and I was feeling myself.”
