Channing Tatum is opening up about some health troubles.
The "Roofman" star, 45, revealed in a series of Instagram stories Tuesday that he had undergone surgery for his shoulder. The black and white X-rays show a separated shoulder, then the same joint with the text "Scewed shoulder. Yay." The second X-ray shows a nail holding together the joint.
In a black and white photo, posted to his Instagram grid Feb. 3, Tatum could be seen lying in a gown in a hospital bed with a plastic cap, preparing for surgery.
"Just another day. Another challenge. This one is gonna be hard. But whatever. Let's get it in," he wrote alongside the photo.

While Tatum did not reveal the source of his injury, the Hollywood hunk is no stranger to physical roles. His breakout part in "Step Up" cast him as a scrappy street dancer, while his latest hit "Roofman" sees him perform several stunts as a soldier-turned-professional thief.
His post comes on the heels of a winning streak at the Sundance Film Festival. Tatum's new family drama, "Josephine," scooped up both of the fest's top awards on Jan. 30: the U.S. dramatic Grand Jury Prize and the U.S. dramatic audience award.

In the movie, which has already been touted as a 2027 Oscar contender by awards pundits, Tatum plays the father of a young girl who is traumatized after witnessing a horrific crime in a public park. Gemma Chan and newcomer Mason Reeves co-star in the film, which is written and directed by Beth de Araújo (2022's "Soft & Quiet").
