The Kennedy family continues its reign as one of the most famous side characters on *The Real Housewives of New York City*.

Carole Radziwill made her official return to Bravo during the second episode of *RHONY *season 16 on Tuesday, and costar Jessel Taank wasted no time bringing up the Kennedy family — with some pretty wild questions. During a full cast brunch, newcomer Daisy Toye was the first to bring up the Kennedy connection, telling Radziwill that she’s been “dying” to discuss FX’s *Love Story*.

Ryan Murphy’s series, which chronicled John F. Kennedy Jr. and Carolyn Bessette’s relationship leading up to their deaths in 1999, premiered this past February, just as production on *RHONY *started. Radziwill was married to Anthony Radziwiłł, who was Kennedy Jr.’s best friend and cousin.

Radziwill said during Tuesday’s episode that she’s been “bombarded” with questions about the show, appearing apprehensive to discuss it. While Toye had positive commentary about the series and famous family, Taank’s questioning took quite the turn.

“I want to know all about Carolyn Bessette,” Toye said. Taank added, “No, just ask the question. Was she a bitch? That’s what I want to know.”

Radziwill, who made it clear that she had not seen the show, asked if her late friend had “come across” that way on the scripted series. Taank responded that Sarah Pidgeon’s version of Bessette seemed “aloof.” Toye said she was more curious to know whether Bessette would have “vibed” with the *RHONY *cast.

“Yes, she was very fun. She was a girl’s girl before there was a thing called girl’s girl,” Radziwill said. “I don’t know what she’s like on the show. ... I’m not watching the show. I watched about four minutes of it the other night with my best friend...it’s too much.”

Taank later brought up “Carolyn Bessette summer,” telling Radziwill that “everyone” has been channeling minimalism and dressing like the late icon. Radziwill was not into it. “I don’t love that,” she said.

In her confessional, Taank called Radziwill “a walking human vibe diffuser.” She added, “If I passed away, God forbid, and someone said ‘Jessel Taank summer’ and wore the most outrageous couture and jewels and looked fabulous all the time, I’d be like, ‘Hell yeah, let’s go.’”

Things got worse when Taank doubled down on the conversation asking the women if they think “the family is, like, cursed.” She referenced John F. Kennedy’s 1962 assassination, Jackie Kennedy Onassis’ cancer battle and Kennedy Jr. and Bessette’s deaths. “It’s a lot,” Radziwill said, trying to end the conversation.

Costar Erin Lichy stated in her confessional that Taank needed to “read the frickin’ room.” She added, “Dude, do you not see that this is her best friend and she’s still greiving.”

Radziwill shared a similar sentiment in her own confessional, wondering how her feelings “didn’t register” with Taank.

“The tragic deaths of my cousins and best friend might be very upsetting to me,” Radziwill said. “I want to strangle her.”
