Blake Lively appeared to shrug off the latest headlines about her reported fallout with Taylor Swift after sharing a new post with fans on social media.

In a new Instagram video, Lively gave her followers a glimpse of herself getting ready to attend the FIFA Club World Cup alongside friends while promoting her haircare brand, Blake Brown Beauty.

The video started with Lively showing off her glam routine, which involved giving herself a bouncy hairstyle which she described as "magic." She then focused on her makeup while her hair was setting. The video comes as it's been reported Swift is no longer an "active godmother" to Lively's kids amid their falling out.

The 38-year-old Gossip Girl star has been regularly posting on her Instagram page despite ongoing reports about the state of her friendship with the pop superstar. It comes as a new report emerged alleging that Lively threatened to reveal private text messages exchanged with Swift during her high-profile legal battle with her It Ends With Us co-star Justin Baldoni.

Lively and Swift first became close friends in 2015, regularly appearing together at events and sharing glimpses of their friendship on social media. However, reports have suggested their relationship has cooled in recent months as Lively's legal battle with her It Ends With Us co-star and director has continued.

According to Baldoni's attorney, Bryan Freedman, a "reliable" source alleged that Lively's legal team made "extortionate threats" to Swift's representatives, demanding the singer release a public statement in support of the actress. The claims allege that if Swift refused, Lively would reveal "private text messages of a personal nature" exchanged between the pair.

Lively's lawyer, Michael Gottlieb, strongly denied the allegations, stating, "This is categorically false. We unequivocally deny all of these so-called allegations, which are cowardly sourced to supposed anonymous sources, and completely untethered from reality."

The reports also reference an alleged text message sent by Lively to Baldoni in which she compared herself to Game of Thrones character Daenerys Targaryen and referred to Swift as one of her "dragons."

According to the alleged message, she wrote, "I happen to have a few dragons. For better or worse, but usually for better." Reports claim the message drew Swift further into the dispute and contributed to the pair's reported estrangement.

The star is said to have distanced herself from the pop star

The allegations go on to claim that Lively's legal team also wanted Swift to publicly explain why the pair did not attend the 2025 Super Bowl together. According to the Daily Mail, the singer was allegedly asked to share a social media message reading, "So sad, my bestie couldn't come to the Super Bowl."

Reports further alleged that Lively threatened to release "10 years" of private text messages if Swift declined the request. However, a source close to the actress denied the claims, insisting, "Blake has never threatened to leak Taylor's personal or private text messages."
